Hello community, I have a "VITOCAL 200-S" and I want to integrate it in my smart home, I have a BL-UMV200 (on / off contact, 1-10V output) but I do not know how to connect it or is it the right device . I did some research on "Smart Grid" and "EA1 extension" but do not know how to connect it to my smart device. Maybe it's not the adequate equipment, I can change it anyway. Thank you
Hello Viessman_kosovo6,
please tell me the serial number of your system.
Many greetings
Flo
i have two of them
thank you
If you want to make a 0-10V request, then you need the EA1 extension.
For the smart grid function, you can check whether you can use it directly on the controller. To do this, you must look in coding level 1 under the Smart Grid group to see whether parameter 7E80 can be set to 4. If so, the following applies:
Via the contacts 216.1 (B) or 216.4 (A), the SmartGrid function can be executed directly on the heat pump control. In this case, the control is carried out via a separate contactor which establishes a potential-free contact between X3.1 and 216.1 (B) or 216.4 (A).
Note:
- If Smart Grid is connected to the two digital inputs on the basic circuit board ("Enable Smart Grid 7E80" on "4"), the external switch-on for the heating/cooling circuits must not be switched on ("Remote control 2003" on "2"). Otherwise Smart Grid is not active.
- The EVUS lock is included in the scope of functions of Smart Grid. Therefore, in this case, the EVU lock signal must not be connected to the connections X3.6 and X3.7.
The functions that can be executed via it are as follows:
■ No contact closed: Heat pump is in normal operation
■ contact (A) closed: EVU lock
- Compressor OFF
- Heating water instantaneous water heater can be switched on ("Power for heating water instantaneous water heater with EVU lock 790A").
Contact (B) closed: Operation of the heat pump with adjusted temperature setpoints for various functions. The changes are set with the following parameters:
- DHW heating: "Smart Grid setpoint increase for DHW heating 7E91".
- Heating buffer storage: "Smart Grid setpoint increase for heating water buffer storage 7E92".
- Room heating: "Smart Grid setpoint increase for room temperature heating 7E93".
- Room cooling: "Smart Grid setpoint reduction for room temperature cooling 7E95".
- The compressor only switches on when required. The valid switch-on conditions for the respective function must be fulfilled. A time phase must be active in the time programme for the respective function.
- The adjusted temperature setpoints have no influence on the auxiliary heaters. The auxiliary heaters are switched off at the limits that apply without Smart Grid.
■ Contact (A) and (B) closed: The system components are heated to the adjusted max. temperatures or cooled to the minimum temperatures. The compressor switches on
immediately, even if no time phase is active in the time programme.
Max. Temperatures for various functions:
- Domestic hot water heating: "Max. hot water temperature 6006".
- Buffer tank heating: "Max. buffer tank temperature 7204".
- Room heating: "Max. flow temperature heating circuit 200E".
- Room cooling: "Min. flow temperature cooling 7103".
- To reach the max. temperatures, the heating water flow heater may be switched on. The max. level can be set ("Smart Grid release E-heating 7E82").
- The max. temperature setpoints have no influence on the other additional heaters, e.g. external heat generators. The additional heaters are switched off at the limits that apply without Smart Grid.
- The system components are heated or cooled one after the other according to the defined priorities, e.g. DHW heating before space heating.
- The "Switch-off limit heat pump bivalent operation 7B0F" is shifted to -30 °C so that the heat pump remains in operation even at low outdoor temperatures.
Viele Grüße
Flo
Can i made those functions with that BL-UMV or to change equipment to get another with two relay ?
I can't answer whether you can perform these functions with the device.
Many greetings
Flo
I will leave static temperature and i just want to make on/off nothing else and to integrate in my smart app (or can i control from room thermostat)
Thank you
How you control it is up to you. I can only tell you what needs to be done to implement Smart Grid.
Many greetings
Flo
