Bin seit einigen Tage Besitzer von mehrern VitoClima 300-S, und habe mit Erstaunen festgestellt, dass die Fernsteuerung per WiFi die App einer chinesichen Firma erfordert ([1] "EWPE Smart" von Zhuhai EWPE - einer Tochter von GREE), dass diese wiederum ein Konto in der "EWPE Cloud" erfordert.
Und dieses (per "EPWE cloud registration agreement"), fordert mich erstmal auf, die Verfassung der VR China zu respektieren (inklusive territorial Integrität, sprich Taiwan etc), und (unter anderem) die "nationale herausragende kulturelle Tradition" nicht zu gefährden... (siehe unten)
Hoppla.
1. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, meine VitoClima irgendwie lokal per WiFi zu steuern, OHNE dies App zu benutzen?
2. Ist diese App ein Hinweis darauf, das unsere VitoClimas nur eine nett verpackte GREE [2] sind, anstatt irgendwo (zumindest in Europa) produziert zu werden? Oder handelt es sich "nur" um das WiFi-Modul?
