Vitodens 222W with Nest thermostat

Hi, 

I've recently bought google nest thermostats for in my house in Italy. However, if I want to use the open therm function it does not work and if I set the heatlink to 2 & 3 the heaters always stay warm. Is there something I need to change?

Viessmann decided not to support OpenTherm (or any open standards) any more for the Vitodens 2xx/3xx.They choose instead to vendor lock-in high paying customers to their own inferior and more expensive thermostat offering.

So it's impossible to have modulations controls via the Nest. You can only opt for on/off control.

Can't adjust my previous comment. Are you familar with the additional module which is required to make it on/off?

No. But I don't think you need an extra module for that.

Hello Erwin, i'm italian too. I've your same Vitodens 200. Did you somehow manage to install the nest at the end? if yes, have you done any tutorials? Thank you
