Vitodens 300 wb3a 66 kW room thermostat?

Hello!

I have a Vitodens 300 wb3a gas 66 kW and I want to use a smart thermostat for my holiday home.

 I also have a Vitotronic 200 and a Vitoconnect OPTO1.

I've read the manual, but I see no room thermostat option and this is really stupid ;(

Hello Macrisu,

actually we only support devices located in Germany in this community because we have no access to modules outside of Germany and the available features differ from country to country.

But here could be the reason: The OPTO1 is not compatible with the Single Room Control which is neccessary for adding devices like the thermostat. Your would need the Vitoconnect OPTO2

But again, this depends on the features in your country, so please contact your local sales partner for further information.

Usually, what is available in Germany, is also available in my Country.

I've had a reply from my local distributor:

I have 2 options:

1. From Viessman

- Vitotrol 200-E wired or Vitotrol 200-E RF (radio) 

- Vitotrol 300 A (wired)

2. H2 external extension + on ON/Off classical Thermostat

I'll choose the 2nd option, in order to use an Internet-connected Thermostat.
