The change was announced in November here as well as in the Changelog and the emailing that was sent out in December as well, forwarding to the news article in the Developer Portal. For the new type of heating systems (type = E3), the operating modes of the heating circuit and of the domestic hot water (DHW) were split. To see/change the operating mode of the DHW, you now need to use the features heating.dhw.operating.modes.*. For example to check the currently active operating mode of the DHW, you now use heating.dhw.operating.modes.active. The new features for the DHW operating modes are heating.dhw.operating.modes.active heating.dhw.operating.modes.balanced heating.dhw.operating.modes.comfort heating.dhw.operating.modes.eco heating.dhw.operating.modes.off For further communication and if anything is not working, please use the other areas of the Developer area of this forum. I have same setup and same behaviour in Heating Circuit 1 (time program mode). My normal mode setpoint is 22°C. Vitotrol show summer eco mode (vito vicare shows summer 🙂 when room temp is at or above setpoint. While in eco mode, I temporarely increment setpoint to 23 and back to 22, Vitodens resumes normal mode and it keeps that mode even at room temp 22,6°. (Param 933.6 is set to 1, and 933.7 to 8 which is low (also tried with 4)). There must be bug or very unusual correlation curve of param 933.7 to hystereris in PID loop. Local support office was rather ignorat to questions and my case.mails. It would help to get an Viess expert help explaining behaviour or recommend solution. Until then my workaround is shorttime trick to Vitotrol.   Heating Circuit 2 works flawlessly, however only driven by outdoor temp. Regards, Aleks ... Mehr anzeigen

I managed to fix it using the app: settings - communication module - restart communication module. I now see the actual information in the app and on vitoguide. I don't know why this solved it when a complete restart of the vitodens device didn't. So if you are having similar issues, try this step. ... Mehr anzeigen

I tried by modifying the PyVicare package to read this value and it worked. It seems like the api as documented on https://developer.viessmann.com/en/introduction is not exposing all features (yet?). ... Mehr anzeigen
