Hi, is it possible this change has been implemented yesterday? It was not listed on the changelog but something seems to have changed. I am having issues controlling my vitodens burner as I used to, as do other people controlling their boiler using home automation.

I managed to fix it using the app: settings - communication module - restart communication module. I now see the actual information in the app and on vitoguide. I don't know why this solved it when a complete restart of the vitodens device didn't. So if you are having similar issues, try this step.

Hello, since last night I don't see recent information in my vicare app and in the vitoguide website. The last update I got in my home automation system is at 00:16 on 2nd of February. For instance: vicare and vitoguide tell me the burner is off and the thermostat is in energy saving mode but this is not the case: the burner and circulation pump are working at the moment. Also, the gas consumption in vicare and vitoguide is zero for today. I have turned off the vitodens but this did not solve the issue. When it is turned off, vicare and vitoguide notify me that the network connection of the device is down. So it seems like the Vitodens can connect all right but is not uploading actual information.

I also noticed some data points stopped working. for example "heating.boiler.sensors.temperature.main" seems to be replaced by "heating.dhw.sensors.temperature.hotWaterStorage". I suppose they made the change to have a better logic structure. I'd advise you to check out the documentation and see if you can find a new location for the data points you are looking for, perhaps they have replaced it with another name.

I tried by modifying the PyVicare package to read this value and it worked. It seems like the api as documented on https://developer.viessmann.com/en/introduction is not exposing all features (yet?).

I'm trying to locate the value for my installation in the API but I couldn't find it. According to the Viessmann-api project on github it should call "heating.solar.sensors.temperature.collector" but I get an error 404 not found. Other values like heating.boiler.sensors.temperature.commonSupply do work. I can read the collector temperature in the vicare app so it should be available somewhere...

Hi, I'm trying to use the viessmann API to read information about my installation. I can read a lot of information on the API like gateways, devices, temperatures, schedules and many otherfeatures of my vitodens 200 installation. I also want to read the information about my thermal solar installation. I can read it in the vicare app e.g. information about the collector temperature. However I can't find this information using the API. Perhaps I'm searching in the wrong place. According to the viessmann-Api project in github the feature "heating.solar.sensors.temperature.collector" should exist however I can't find it on this location: https://api.viessmann-platform.io/iot/v1/equipment/installations/XXX/gateways/XXX/devices/0/features/heating.solar.sensors.temperature.collector I also have trouble locating values like heating.gas.consumption.heating which I can see in the app as well. Any hints? thanks.

Thank you for your input! The vitotrol can influence the supply temperature of the heating water which is a valuable option but in my use case this is not useful as I want other rooms to be heated independently from the room where the thermostat is located. So you are right simply removing the vitotrol would perhaps keep the circulation pump running 🙂 I was hoping the vitodens would modulate its burner and circulation pump to allow continuous circulation of water at a low level of energy consumption (by lowering its supply temperature when the set temperature is reached) but not shut it off completely. If the circulation pump is shut off, the vitodens has no way of detecting other rooms request heat. I suppose I'll have to play with time programming and choosing the right temperature for the three levels (reduced, normal and comfort) to suit my needs. And a shut off circulation pump is still more economic than one running at a low level, off course.

Hi HerrP, thank you for your reply! I have only one heating circuit I can change 1240.0. It was configured on setting 1: automatic. The other setting is 2 (not 7 like like the manual states) but this made no difference. I have no access to 2426.2, it is also not mentioned in the manual. I'll see if I somehow can. I can of course easily "solve" my issue by setting the target temperature at a high value (e.g 25 degrees) so it doesn't switch off but I still don't understand why it is called "summer eco mode" when it is not summer 😉

Hi, I'm sorry to write this in English as I am not a native German speaker. This seems like the only active Viessmann community on the internet. I have a Vitodens 200-W B2HF in combination with a Vitotrol 200-e and an outdoor temperature sensor. When I set a desired room temperature in the living room (where vitotrol is located) to 20°, the installation goes to summer eco mode when the room temperature reaches 21°C. The outside temperature is 13 °C. When I set the desired temperature to 22°C, the installation leaves summer eco mode and works normally again. I want to warm other rooms like the bathroom even when the living room is warm enough but this is not possible in summer eco mode as the circulation pump is disabled. Also I don't understand why it enters "summer eco mode" when the outside temperature is 13°C. Parameter 1396.1 is set to 25 but the outside temperature is much lower so it simply should not enter summer eco mode. Should I change a setting? Is this a bug? Is there perhaps a difference in behaviour between temperature profiles T1, T2 and T3? thanks.
