WiFi connection unstable Vitocal 222

Hello everyone,

Since the installation of my Viessmann heat pump a month and a half ago, the connection between my Vicare app and the heat pump has been steadily deteriorating. Initially, it would drop out after a few days, and I had to reconfigure the network from the heat pump to restore communication. Now, this only works for 2 minutes.

I tried separating my two Wi-Fi networks (2.4 and 5 GHz) to ensure a connection only on the 2.4 GHz band. This made no difference.

My internet router is less than 1 meter from the heat pump, so distance isn't the issue.

Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the situation?

Hi, in the router set the ip address of the 222 to a permanent one.

thank you for your answer. I fixed a fixed IP address (192.168.1.222) for the heat pump in my router's parameters. It seems to deliver better results because connection worked during few hours. Unfortunately, it doesn't work again since this morning. In Vicare's home screen it is written "Your installation does not have Internet connection".

It disturbes me because :

1. in heat pump's home screen I can see the WiFi icon which confirms that conenction is done with my router. Also in "information panel", I cann see that the correct IP adress is assigned for it.

2. In my router setting I can also confirm that connection with heat pump is done, with an "excellent signal level"

Could it be necessary to open a port into heat pump IP address ? If yes, which one ?

Does anybody should have an idea of what the problem could be? 

Do you think it could be necessary to route a port (TCP or UDP) on my router's settings into heat pump IP address?
