Vitodens 333 WS3A low temp

Hello,

I have a Vitodens 333 WS3A connected to a DIM (would manage a High Temp circuit and a Low Temp circuit with mixer). Vitodens has a temp sensor on the "mixed" output.

Settings are:

Code 2           00:2            D3:14         D4:30         06:50     A5:5      C5:35      C6:70    52:1

I need around 60°C on the HT and 50°C at the mixed output. But the Vitodens is giving no more then 40°C...

Thanks

Also: can somebody explain me what is the difference between "Codifica 1" and "Codifica 2" (original should be "Code 1" and "Code 2"...)

I've changed d3:30 to try something higher and then get slowly back.
The thing I don't understand is HOW the unit use the information provided by the temperature sensor on the mixed output. Example from yesterday evening: outdoor temperature -3°, inclination d3:30, setpoint 24, I am expecting that the output temperature would be something around 90° (limited to 70° by parameter C6). Instead, I got something like 45°!

Hello brusuillis,

would you please explain what DIM is and what you mean with HT? Does HT stand for heating circuit?

Do you have two seperate circuits? There ist one without mixer A1 an one heating circuit with mixer M2? In this case choose 00:6.

Code 06:50 is maximum limit of the boiler water temperature, defaulted in °C by the boiler coding card. Is it possible to choose a higher temperature? For example 06:65? When not, there ist no possibility to get a highter temperature on the circuits.

In code 2, all coding addresses are stored. Only use Code 2, please. Thats more easy.

regards °pa

Hi Patrick,
DIM = Disjunction Module. It is made by Immergas. it manage 1 High Temp circuit (downstairs) and 1 Low Temp circuit. It should receive High Temp from the boiler, and mix it with return water to send it to Low Temp circuit. Like TYPE 3, but not all made by Viessmann..
Viessman technician put a temperature sensor on this mixed output (and connected to the Vitodens): how does the boiler use it?

To answer your replies:
Ok, put 00:6, gave me a bA error, disappared from display but still on vicare: cannot communicate with CR2 mixer...
06:60 (65 would trigger security themostat on DIM to preserve radiant panels..)

Another thing: I don't have any isse in sending LOW TEMP water also to the High circuit, because it just have 1 radiator for towels... so I think I could use 00:2.... if it simplifies things

Thanks to @Patrick_Zarges suggestion, now things are slightly better.
Now, to improve again, I need to understand HOPW it works.
Theoretically my system is like the one in TYPE 4, but:
1) the mixer is NOT a VIESSMANN, so no BUS-KM...
2) I have no "extension kit "M"
3) temp sensor "2" is connected directly to the Vitodens (I guess to X3.4 e X3.5)
4) if I use setting 00:6 it give me an error (of course, it doesn't see the additional CR2 module..)
How does it use the information provided by 3) ?

Thanks,
Luca
