Hello there,
I would like to learn more about the way how the E380 meter will be connected to my system with Vitocal 222-S E.06 2C and PV (Growatt invertor with 10,24 kWh battery, Eastron meter, 5,4 kWp panels), both are about to be installed in March. My house as well as the PV is three-phase and the Vitocal 222-S E.06 2C heat pump is one-phase. Now the questions:
- will both the Eastron (PV metering) and E380 (heat pump metering) units be connected using all three phases as shown in my picture below?
- even if both meters are installed at the same time during the PV system installation, the E380 will not block any of the other devices (or even electricity) in any way if it is not connected via the CAN bus to the heat pump (it might be installed a few weeks later). It is just a meter so it cannot block anything, right?
- will the E380 meter be connected via the CAN bus to the PV invertor (modbus) in any way or just the heat pump?
