Kann ich tatsächlich Vitovent 300-W mit WO1C auf meine Wärmepumpe Vitocal 200-S steuern?

Kann ich Vitovent 300-W mit Vitogate 200 KNX steuern? Vitogate 200 KNX ist mit meine Wärmepumpe Vitocal 200-S verbunden und KNX Kommunikation funktioniert problemlos.

Hello Arnaud,

is the Vitovent connected to the heat pump control via Modbus at all? According to the serial number, it does not have Modbus. Accordingly, the data points cannot be accessed.

Yes, it is connected via Modbus, I had a new interface card (new generation) installed in the VitoVent. I think the problem is related to the configuration inside the Vitogate...

The Vitogate should have the data points available for the ventilation unit. How old is your system including Vitogate?

Vitocal is from 2016, Vitovent as well (but the interface card / circuit board is from last week) and the Vitogate is from May 2023.

As per the content of this thread that I read before buying the Vitogate, I suspect either the Vitocal is not configured properly to recognize the Vitovent (but this was done by Viessmann installer) or I need to upgrade the parameters for the Vitogate (either in ETS6, or via another - http? - technique)...

Dear Flo,

But I cannot see them in the programming interface of the Vitogate, this is why I am asking you for help... Is maybe a firmware / software update needed? How? Or maybe there is a web interface to the Vitogate where I can change settings? I tried to connect to the IP address, port 80, no reply, but the Vitogate replies to a ping request and it is visible on the KNX bus.

I recommend that you contact your specialist company about this so that they can complain about it. It should work for the year of manufacture of the Vitogate.

Hello again @Flo_Schneider, I have contacted my specialist company. They found out that my system needed an upgrade. Viessmann Luxembourg has come and changed some hardware (notably the WO1C) and perfromed firmware upgrades. This is the setup they have now in their logs.

- Vitocal 200-S      7542014601078108
- New WO1C / 7858039 Vitotronic 200 WO1C SW247 update soft 3445 to 3475 to see the Vitovent controls
- Vitovent 300-W H32S A300 300cbm/h7521193601099102

All seems to work, except that in ETS I cannot see the VitoVent data points. Viessmann Luxembourg tells me that they do not know what the problem is and they cannot help me. Can you help? I think it might be some configuration to perform in the plugin?
