does anybody know if "7248053 Flansch" has a standard thread G 1 1/2" (G6/4") or a different one? Maybe Rp 1 1/2"?
I have Viessmann Vitocell 100-B CVB 500-liter storage tank (gas heated) and would like to add an electric heating rod in the bottom mount to use photovoltaic energy to heat water. I bought "Viessmann 7248053 Flansch" and a 3rd party 6kW heating rod recommended by my photovoltaic installer (the original Viessmann EHE satz seems to have terribly long lead times of 5 months). The rod has G 1 1/2" (G6/4") thread, the "Flansch" should also have 1 1/2" (6/4" ) thread but it does not seem to fit. When I try to screw the rod into the Flansch, I can barely make one 360 degree turn before it tightens.
Any idea?
