External room temp sensor for Vitotrol 200-e

Hello,

I have a Vitotrol 200-e controller with an internal temperature sensor. The manual mentions the possibility of connecting an external room temperature sensor. I used some NTC 10kOhm I had at home to try it out. However, the controller only displays the temperature measured by the internal sensor.

I couldn't find where to switch the temperature sensor in the manual. Or should I use some other special sensor.

You connected the sensor correctly.

Thank you, I did not noticed. However I am not sure about that... Shall I do commissioning the system with the Commissioning Assistant ?  Will be the previous commissioning setting lost ??

Hello @kalistak 

This is how you start the Vitotrol 200-E in configuration mode

then select that you have an external room temperature sensor and confirm
