Have done more testing and it does now seem to be working. If there is a problem it seems to be with the app, which appears to take a significant amount of time to register that the boiler has been turned off via the API interface. Thanks again for your help. Next target is to study your solution to the 180 day renewal of the refresh token.

In Spain ViCare+ is published to be available, but still Vicare basic, with Alexa skill is not yet working (no skill in Amazon.es). When Alexa skill will be available in Doain (Amazon.es) How confidence can I be in ViCare+ contract if some elements anounced time ago not yet available in ViCare Basic? Viessmann is really having innovation ideas, but seems integration team is not able to apply them.

Viessmann will no longer even reply to my questions on this subject. There is a very good video on Youtube which decribes Viessmann's attitude to the UK market. Try " Viessmann, is this why we could never get along?" . The telling bit is a sketch at the end of the video. In summary, a potentially great product but a totally arrogant approach to the UK market.
