Someone on this forum has already posted a picture of a fixed version of heat exchanger with drip lip. Not sure why Viessmann does not offer it...Maybe someone can post a part number?

@Yurii : Do you know, whether there is any difference for the 200-W in changing the bearings or the bearings specifics? I own 300-W and don't have any experience with 200-W, sorry. I guess it should be similar.

It appears that the fan bearings are dead, as their rated lifespan is around 5 years. You can search the forum; there are plenty of topics on this. New bearings cost less than 10 €, they can be replaced fairly easily, but the only "official" solution by Viessmann is replacing the whole fan which costs around 700 €. What a shame! Bearings used in these fans are of 608 type, 2pcs per fan. My unit had NSK 608Z from factory. You can use SKF 608-2Z or 608-2RSH or analogs. The 2RSH will be more quiet and probably longer lasting due to better isolation.

Same problem here. It does not start in 50% occasions after power outage, showing E104 or E105 randomly. We have several outages per day (I'm in Ukraine), so it is really annoying. I have to restart the unit manually to make it work again. I think it all started after the fan bearings were completely stuck couple years ago. We had to replace them and the unit was working fine since then, except for the occasional startup error.
