I'm facing the same issue. We have read through the documentation and its not fully clear what is happening. Does the EA1 module required at all to use the Smart Grid function? We have it and we tested the feature in the following way: EA1 is connected through the digital interface (KM-BUS, 145) We connected DE2 and DE3 short (DE2, ports 3,4 together and DE, ports 5-6 together) Connected the EA1 module 230V power supply Configured Smart grid - 7E80 to "4" Configured the 6006 and 7204 as well to ask for 60C temperature After the above there is nothing different happening on the heat pump behavior. Questions: Do we have to make changes on the connections on main board (like you suggested connecting short 216.1 and X3.1.) or anything else?
