Oh 😕, the change just hit me on December 4 with my system. I am commenting here with the hope that the Viessman product managers see that users are disappointed with these changes. I bought the Viessman heater because it had features it had (API included, it was a deal breaker for me because I want to have it as part of my automation). And you just take away some functionality (or just start charging for it) as "nothing happened"? How is that different from e.g. me buying a car, and after I buy it, the seller would lock me from e.g. using the lights unless I start paying them extra? I am sympathetic to having some freedom to change stuff (e.g. when breaking the API), but then at least have some decent feature parity... This is not that important, but the stated reason to "reduce the traffic" doesn't make any sense - lowering the resolution doesn't lower the traffic (as has been said earlier).
