how is VITODENS 300 communicate with the variable speed pump VIRS 25/7 Bus?

hi,

I have a VITODENS 300 central heating system. We had to replace the pump VIRS 25/7 Bus and on a short notice we couldn't not find the exact replacement. I think the one mounted is also variable speed. I was wondering if the cable connecting the VITODENs to the pump is a digital data bus (is a 2 wire) or is a simple analog control voltage or current that gives a setpoint speed to the pump?

Hello Christian,

which Vitodens do you have? The speed of the pump is controlled by a bus system (2 wire). The pump has permanent stacking (230V). If the electronics of the pump are defective, the speed control can be deactivated. I need to know which Vitodens you are using. Can you please give us the exact type designation.
