Thema "Vitopend 100-W "F5" errorcode - WH1D control unit issue?" in Gas

Dear all,

as I notice my boiler is just a bit outdated (installed as neu in 2014). It worked well till recently, when during one night it suddenly stopped with errorcode F5. The service man looked at it and said that the control unit could be wrong. I need advice regarding what the optimal solution should be, as a new replacement part of the WH1D control unit is over 200 €, whereas the used value of the boiler is around 150 €. This model is no longer available in the market, if I was to replace it, I'd have to go for a Vitodens. I have a family hause with 150 sqm living space and 12 radiators. I would not seek to change the complete heating system, as the economical viabilitiy of this option seems to questionable. I would appreciate your kind advice.
