Hello,

I want to add opentherm to my installation.

I have a vitodens 200 with Vitotronic 200 combined with a solar installation.

On the net I read that the possibility exists but what module or extension do I need?

what do you want to control? A signal from Open-Therm to Vitodens 200?
In Canada and USA there are KM BUS and Open Therm connections. That's an extension kit for heating circuit with mixing valve. But only for main power supply 120V

I want a nest thermostat to control my heating but the heating system needs to understand opentherm.

Hello Pak0,

currently there is no way to control Vitodens 200 only with an Open-Therm thermostat. For your application, you can use the Vitotrol 100 to control the room temperature.

What I basically want is a smart thermostat that knows when I am away to make my heating smarter.

Is there any smart thermostat that is compatible with my setup?
