&lt;P&gt;the higher the flow temperatures, the worse the coefficient of performance of the heat pump and thus also the consumption. If possible, I would advise you to modify your system for the optimal operation of a heat pump.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Vitocal 100-s Hybrid experience</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As I am from Belgium, I will type this in English. (I can also use translate if needed)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Situation:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- House build in 1996,&amp;nbsp;200m2, heated with radiators (no floor heating), we use an old Buderus G205 oil burner.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- Isolation moderate: 4cm walls, 12cm roof, HR+ windows&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- Oil consumption last 4 years: between 1500 and 1700 liters (including domestic hot water with 160 liter boiler)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- PV installation 5,4 kwp (will add 2kwp later this year), 10kwh battery, we have excess solar power&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We have an offer to install a Vitocal 100-s 8kw heat pump with 300l domestic hot water boiler and 200 liter buffertank.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In hybrid operation with the old oil burner for the cold days.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We plan a renovation in maybe 5-7 years which will include floot heating in living area's.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Good to know: New installation of oil burners are not allowed anymore in Belgium, only gas installations.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is it wise to install the hybrid heatpump with only radiators (we can have 50 degrees supply temperature)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Or will the consumption be very high?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
