How vicare smart climate will work with external sensor on vitodens ?

Dear All,

it seems vicase smart control including ViCare radiator thermostats will be launch April 2020 (or other date due to covid19 ?) I would like to know how it will work with external sensor on Vitodens 222-f b2sb ?

Do algorithm will take into account external temperature ? number of ViCare radiator thermostats asking for heating ?

Does ViCare radiator thermostats will take into account heating inertia of each room ? open windows ?

Hello CedRep,

the regulation for smart climate is based on the respective target room temperatures. The Vitodens control always sets the highest target room temperature for the room that currently needs heat.

Hello Flo,
So temperature of heating water will be not drive by external temperature (if there is an external sensor) with heating curve ?
Only the gap between higest target room temperatures and lowest current room temperature will drive temperature of heating water ?
Do we lost the advantage to have always the lowest power of the heating system ?

You understood it wrong. The set room temperature in the Vitodens control is determined based on the highest available set room temperature. Heating is carried out quite normally based on the heating curve calculation depending on the outside temperature and the target room temperature.

Is a compability or an Upgrade option to the wibutler system planned? According to your presentation from 31th Match, wibutler seemed to be more and more integrated.
